The new standard in poultry flooring. DURA-SLAT is made out of high-impact polypropylene material providing superior impact and wear resistance. DURA-SLAT reduces food pad problems, leg problems and breast blisters experienced with wood slats. It will easily outlast wood slats. The solid plastic construction of DURA-SLAT is rot/corrosion proof, resists microorganisms build up and sheds waste easily. This plastic poultry flooring contains Bio-Pruf anti-microbial protection. Cut cleaning time in half with the non-porous smooth surface and 1.1" x 1.1" openings. The large openings also allow the birds to continually work the manure though the openings to maintain a clean environment. It has been proven that eggs laid on square openings, regardless of surface area - like Dura-Slat, were significantly cleaner than eggs laid on wooden slats. The primary source of contamination of hatching eggs is contact with dirty sources. Available in 2 sizes: #93165 is overlapping, 24" x 49.5" and #93334 is 24" x 48" 50 piece minimum.
